On Tuesday we worked with the video camera's. In my group there are four people. Brandon McClure, Donielle Miller, Bryan Weed, and myself. Our assignment was for each of us to say our names, once with a microphone and once with out the microphone, for a total of eight names. Everything went smoothly except for in the very beginning when Brandon and I were saying our names in the microphone, we didn't have the microphone on. Then finally Donielle noticed that it wasn't on. In conclusion, making sure the microphone is on would be one of the things we need to work on. One thing we learned how to do was how to edit. We had some unexpected film of Brandon on our tape, which needed to be edited out. Bryan taught me how to do that.
A UNIDIRECTIONAL microphone is: (normally used with a microphone). Picks up only the given sound.
A OMNIDIRECTIONAL microphone is: Picking up all sounds from all directions, as the name implies.
The difference is the unidirectional normally picks up only the sounds you want it to, while the omnidirectional picks up almost all of the sounds that surround you. This makes a big difference because if you are doing an interview or something major like that, then you should have the unidirectional microphone, to just capture the sound that you want it to capture and not all of the background sounds to make the interview sound horrible.

Talkin' Bout' Me In Intro Video

Well, here goes nothing.
I'm Ashley. I'm currently 16 years old and am a Sophomore in high school. I was born on October 19th of 92'. My parents are Joe and Connie Robinson. I love hanging out with my dad, I'm defiantly a daddy's girl, and he's my best friend. My mom and I don't get along at all. I live in the small town of Pierson and yes, the Land Fill is my back yard. I have two sisters and a brother that I can't live with out. My sisters are Kaseyjo and Sarah, Kasey is 21 and Sarah is 22. My brother's name is Justin and he's 26. Kasey, Justin and I are exactly five years apart. I have two nephews and two nieces. My nephews names are Rashawn and Kaedyn. My nieces names are Lili and Tannah. Lili is exactly like my dad and me in every way possible. I love that little girl and would do anything for her. I have a pretty big "Robinson" family and a really small family on my mom's side. My family loves to take vacations and have fun. If you know anything about the Robinson's it's that we are pretty big party animals, we love to get into trouble, and that our famous last words are "you dare me?".
I love to play sports, Basketball and Volleyball are my favorite and I'm currently picking up Softball. I'm normally hanging out with my friends and having fun. I love to be loud and funny. I live on a farm so I'm kind of into that stuff. I enjoy hunting and fishing. During the 2008 youth hunt season I shot a Four Point Buck, which was my first deer I've shot. So you could say I'm anything but a GIRLY GIRL! After I'm out of high school I want to go to college and hopefully pursuit my dream of becoming a Professional Physical Therapist, and I plan to go to school at Michigan State University, or Ferris State University. I would like to attend MSU because it seems like a fun school to learn and I'm a very big fan of the "Izzone", I've been to three Michigan State Basketball games so far. I choose to be in this class because my sister took it and told me to do the same. She said I would enjoy it. Also because I really want to be on the announcements sometime soon, because I can make people laugh and I love to be fun and happy.
Brandon Tyler McClure and Ashley Nicole Robinson WOULD BE THE BEST TWO POSSIBLE TO BE ON THE ANNOUNCEMENTS! (just throwing that out there)
